Glen Fogel is a conceptually based artist who culls from both personal relationships and popular culture to create work that speaks to universal themes. Fogel has been exhibited at venues including JTT, PICA, Sikkema Jenkins, The Kitchen, Momenta Art, Artists’ Space, NGBK (Berlin), Callicoon Fine Arts, Participant, Inc., Contemporary Art Museum Houston, and the Museum of Modern Art. His work has screened in the Toronto and London International Film Festivals, and was included in the Whitney Biennial in 2002. Fogel has an MFA from Bard College, and has received grants from the MAP Production Fund and the Rema Hort Mann Foundation, and was a recipient of the 2009 Princess Grace Award.
